Erykah Badu does it again!! This has to be one of my favorite songs off of her new cd New Amerykah Part Two: Return of the Ankh. It just has so much meaning behind the words...she goes to start it off by saying "Im a recovering, undercover, overlover...recovering from a love i cant get over....and now my common law lover thinks he wants another"...hhmm story of my life...

I love love love how she breaks it down into different parts, just like she has in other songs...i.e Green Eyes...which is also another one of my faves.

I think you guys should definitely not sleep on Erykah cuz she sings and speaks the truth... BUY THE ALBUM or at least download like i did lol...either way I'm showing support! =)

LIFE: "L'Union Fait La Force"

May 18th has been observed as the Haitian Flag Day as it has become a symbol of pride, unity, and individual liberty. In Haiti, Flag Day is a major national holiday celebrated with music and festivities on the grounds of the national palace and all cities in the country. The Haitian flag is tightly linked to a history of struggle and freedom. We are strong and will get through the struggles.

I love my people, I love my culture, I LOVE being HAITIAN!

Bilal! Oh how I love thee...I definitely think he's slept on...big time...even though I know he hasn't really came out with anything recently. But his song "All For Love" speaks soooo much to me. The lyrics are just so relevant to my life...

LIFE: Back to Reality...

So today is my last day in Miami...(until i can get out of reality again)...I had too much fun...spent time with the people I Love...Laughed til I couldnt breathe...and just Lived life! Now I have to go back up to Orlando....ugh!...::gucci voice::...I'm definitely dreading this 1. lonnnnggg drive...2. having to wake up tomorrow for Physics 2..and 3. Just going back to REALITY!...sigh...I dont wanna...=(...but I'm looking to just get this over with and graduate in 3 semesters!! yes...3!!! Just think...this time next year I'll be a graduate with my B.S degree in Industrial Engineering...it just seems so far...blah...

well Miami i'll see ya when I see ya...=\...soon i hope...
